"I've kept your secret for all the months I've know, why would I betray you now? Why bribe me to keep me what I already am?" Lireta exclaimed, then, shocked at herself, lowered her voice to add a subdued, "My Lord."
Aluraios raised a slender eyebrow, murmuring to his side, "She's just been offered practically anything by a powerful Mage Lord, and she's turning him down?"
Lyer smiled, stifling a laugh.
The housemaid looked to one side, blushing slightly before she spoke again, "Although, there is one thing..."
Dakram stroked the blonde hair back from its accustom place in Ferel's eyes, keeping his gaze on the half-lidded but alert pools of green. "I said anything, Lireta."
"I thought that was coming."
Lyer glanced sideways at the whispered comment, pitched just loud enough for his sensitive hearing to pick up, and grinned, shaking his head as he rested it on Aluraios's shoulder. "Enough with the comments, love." he laughingly muttered back, turning his attention back to Lireta as his lover wrapped an arm around his waist and he snuggled against it.
"I've lived in Ioru all my life, I, I know the priests say it's wrong, but, I, I want to see you kiss."
All four males burst out laughing at the rushed words, although it faded abruptly as Ferel's laughter swiftly turned to tired, painfilled gasps and Dakram turned his eyes from Lireta's now bright pink face to sooth his partner. "You alright?" he murmured, still slightly nervous about showing his love in front of his housemaid.
"I'm fine Dak," Ferel smiled softly back, using the familar tone of voice that told the Mage Lord that this definately counted as 'private' in his lover's opinion. "I think Lireta's getting nervous waiting for an answer though."
The housemaid looked as if she was about to run to the door in embarrased fear before the Mage Lord nodded, leaning in to gently press his lips, almost reverently to his manservant's pale forehead before darting a look up at his housemaid to gauge her reaction, to see she was now watching them with an almost rapt and blushing, but still slightly suprised, expression. Letting his defenses down almost completely, he leant in again to kiss the soft lips that he'd missed for so many months.
Ferel shook his head, turning his face away into the pillow and pressing his lips together tightly.
Dakram reached out to touch his shoulder his eyes dark in worry and hurt, and Ferel murmured something in a reassuring but demanding tone that Lyer and Aluraios could only half catch. "...remember...behave..."
"...deserve...be dominant..once...you think?"
"...maybe...do..." Ferel rolled back over, lifting a hand to stroke the slight frown from under and around the softening grey eyes, before lifting his head slightly to meet Dakram's as they moved as one.
Lyer pressed his body closer to Aluraios's as they watched the subtle role-reversal that always occured as soon as the other pair felt they were safe. Ferel took over the kiss almost instantly, his tongue slipping into Dakram's mouth when it opened at the slightest demanding touch, before raising a hand to hold Dakram closer to him.
Lireta's soft glasp didn't distract the pair on the bed, but Aluraios looked over with a wry smile. "You didn't work out who was the lord in private then?"
"No, I hadn't..."
"We'd better leave them to it," Lyer added, watching as Ferel drew the mage to lie on the bed next to him, "Don't worry about either of them getting hurt, Ferel knows the limits they can take, and they're both pretty exhausted still."
Lireta nodded, walking to the door, but darting glances at the bodies on the bed, as if drawn by the sight. "I, I can make sure they're not interrupted for a few days... I'm sure they've... missed one another." she said hesitantly, turning to look at Lyer as she spoke.
"That's probably a good idea. Ferel?"
A mumble of acquisance came from the boyish figure before turning back to Dakram.
Lyer grinned, grabbing his lover, who was standing enthralled by the sight on the bed, and herding him and Lireta out the room. "And you can stop watching them. I'll entertain you tonight."
