Ravens wings envelop me,
Heartbeat slows to destiny,
Entering a realm that
I've only seen in dreams...
Morpheus,
Wrap me in your arms of endless night,
Morpheus,
Let your eyes shine nova-bright,
Morpheus,
Let me be your dream.
Everything that I desire,
Air and water, earth and fire,
Fades as cold as despair
Wishes from the heart...
Shadow longings whisper fast,
Snatching memories of the past,
Raising up the midnight spires
Full of pleasure, full of pain...
Morpheus,
Wrap me in your arms of endless night,
Morpheus,
Let your eyes shine nova-bright,
Morpheus,
Let me be your dream.
Gentle sleep your gift to me,
Shelter from reality,
A tiger's eyes burn away
The nightmares from the dreams...
Tall as belief can hold,
Face, the moonlight's silver gold,
Dark domain a welcome death
From the daylight for a while...
Morpheus,
